What a kitchen remodel usually calls for
12 services, from the first drawing to the last coat of paint, all under one quote. Skip the ones you do not need.
Design, 3D Renderings & Permit Drawings
Start to finish begins here. Through our kitchen and bathroom design and supply partner, the new kitchen is designed and shown to you in 3D renderings before anything is ordered, the cabinets, countertops and fixtures are supplied to match, and the architectural drawings a permit needs are prepared, including the plans for load-bearing wall removal. Financing is available on what they supply. Ask about it when you call.
Kitchen Demolition & Haul-Away
We take the kitchen down to a clean shell — cabinets, countertops, flooring and fixtures out — with dust barriers at the openings and floor protection through every room we walk. Debris leaves in our trucks at the end of each phase, so you are never living around a pile. Appliances you are keeping are pulled, protected and set aside.
Kitchen Cabinet Installation
Base, wall and tower cabinets set to a laser-leveled line so countertops sit flat and every door and drawer aligns across the run. Fillers, panels and scribes are cut tight to walls that are never quite square, and crown, light rail and toe kick finish the run. Hardware is fitted and every door adjusted to a consistent reveal.
Kitchen Islands & Peninsulas
Islands and peninsulas designed for how the kitchen actually gets used: base cabinets sized for the room's walkways, a seating overhang with the right support, outlets where code requires them, and a quartz or granite top to match the rest of the counters. Built as part of the cabinet run so the heights and reveals line up.
Quartz, Granite, Butcher Block & Laminate Countertops
Quartz and granite countertops designed with you, templated after the cabinets are set, fabricated by our stone partner and installed with the seams where you will not see them and the sink and cooktop cutouts made to the fixture's own template. Laminate and butcher block are cut, seamed and fastened level on site, with butcher block sealed on all six faces before it goes down.
Kitchen Tile Flooring
Tile set over a leveled, backer-board subfloor that will not flex under a loaded refrigerator or a full pantry. We dry-lay the field first so cuts fall where you will not see them and the grout lines run true to the cabinet run rather than to a wall that is out of square. Joints are grouted, cleaned and sealed for a room that takes traffic and spills.
Tile Backsplash Installation
Backsplash tile set from the countertop to the underside of the wall cabinets, with the layout centered on the range or the window instead of started blind from a corner. Outlets and switches are cut clean and the tile is held to an even reveal at the counter. Straight-set, stacked, herringbone and pattern layouts.
Load-Bearing Wall Removal
Opening a kitchen into a dining or living room means carrying the load properly. We install LVL or steel beams — flush and hidden in the ceiling, or exposed as a feature — with temporary shoring in place before anything comes out. Built to the engineer's stamped design and ready for inspection.
Kitchen Lighting Installation
Recessed lighting laid out to light the countertops rather than the middle of the floor, plus pendants over an island, under-cabinet strip and puck lighting, and toe-kick lighting. Wiring and circuits are run with a licensed electrician, and dimmers go where you will actually use them.
Kitchen Electrical & Outlets
Countertop GFCI outlets, dedicated circuits for the refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and disposal, and 240V service for an electric range. Installed with a licensed electrician to current Connecticut code, with every cut-in opening patched clean and ready for paint.
Appliance Installation
Refrigerator with or without a water line, gas or electric range, wall ovens, dishwasher, microwave, range hood vented or recirculating, garbage disposal, sink and water filtration. Plumbing and gas connections are made with licensed trades, and every unit is run and leak-tested before we leave.
Kitchen Painting
Walls, ceilings, trim and doors patched, caulked, sanded, primed and finished in two full coats. Cut lines are held tight to the cabinets and crown so every transition reads deliberate instead of approximate.

Kitchen clients, in their own words

EZEfix & Renovations remodeled both my kitchen and my bathroom in Trumbull — full gut jobs, taken down to the studs. I was nervous about taking on such a big project, but Ezequiel and his father Camilo made the whole thing easy. They were patient with every question, kept my home clean while they worked, and treated me and my house with respect. Both rooms came out beautiful and I couldn't be happier.
So I just had these guys do a full reno on my multifamily in Derby, two kitchens and two bathrooms, and honestly I'm still kind of amazed it only took five weeks. … What I really liked though was how easy they were to deal with the whole time, they kept me updated, stayed on schedule, and there weren't any random extra charges thrown at me last minute like you sometimes get with contractors. Price was really fair too for everything that got done.
When I hired EZEfix & Renovations for my kitchen project, they were the fifth contractor I received a quote from. Not only did they offer the most competitive pricing, but the quality of their work exceeded my expectations.
